I'll admit it; I throw my kids the birthday parties I wish I had as a kid. When my daughter Elodie turned 5 and told me she wanted her friends to come over and eat fancy cake in princess dresses I decided that was the perfect excuse to throw her a princess party.... my way. That means lots of flowers, a bit of sparkle and a whimsical party that wowed both the grownups and the kids. Welcome to our Fairytale...
The table was set with ivy trimmed from our garden and flowers displayed in vintage cut glass containers with a custom banner from Hooray Everyday and this and this showered our party goers with a bit of magic.
A place was set for each guest with a wooden initial and a cup full of beads to make a necklace as they arrived. Because princesses need personalized necklaces of course! Each girl also got a mirror to take home.
Then it was time to eat cake. Our custom cupcake toppers and cake toppers were from Everlaser and you can find the cupcake wrappers here and sprinkles here.
It was a magical day for all and of course every princess party needs a crown. Elodie's floral headband is by Daddy Said Yes and her gold crown is from the Wishing Elephant.
